This article is the first of a series of three, trying to help you better understand what Universal Search is and how it can affect the search engine optimization process, and pay per click campaigns. Every article of the series will focus on one of these subjects: * the first will try to explain what Universal Search is, which are the benefits and the downsides and also, how it differs from the classical search, also called vertical search; * the second article’s main subject will be the impact of Universal Search on the search engine optimization process; * the third article will try to present it’s influence on the pay per click campaign. The reason we decided to write a series of three articles having as main subject universal search and its impact, stands in the major changes Universal Search will bring to the universe of internet search. Therefore, we consider the information found in these series to be essential in order to adapt well to all the new characteristics of web search.

What is Universal Search?

Starting with May 2007, Google developed a new type of internet searching which became known as Universal Search . This means that now, when you use Google to search for something, you won’t find only text results. Instead, the results found by the search engine will bring you different types of media, including pictures and videos.

This type of search is used now also, by other search engines, such as Yahoo, MSN, or Ask.

Benefits of Universal Search

This new type of search has several advantages for users, such as: * More helpful information for the user: by receiving many types of results,(pictures, videos, text), users will have a better general view on what they were looking for; * By using only one keyword or phrase, and not mentioning the type of media the users are looking for, the results will cover everything; * Bigger possibility of finding the answer you are searching for faster, after performing only one search; * By including video results, Universal Search helps those interested in watching internet videos find them faster. Adding well tagged videos to your site could prove to be a very good idea for both your business and for obtaining better ranks through Universal Search; * Image results also come in handy for most users, since, it is a well known fact that a picture means more than a thousand words; therefore, thanks to this new feature of web search, both the ones performing the search and site owners can benefit: instead of wondering which result is the one you are searching, by looking at an image you will know for sure; providers will be found faster just by their customers or by adding relevant pictures to their sites; * Since Universal Search includes also news, press releases published on a site could enhance that site’s ranking. * Last, but not least, Universal Search will increase also the importance of blogs, since they will now help the site get better result page ranks.

So, you wanna be an SEO guru. Things change at a rapid pace online. As soon as Web 2.0 was here, talk of Web 3.0 ensued. SEO was dead and then no wait! It was alive and kicking, according to the pundits. There were black hat marketers, white hat marketers, grey hat seo and the Long Tail. Did you change hats at some point in a panic? Is keyword density really that important? Is content still king? One day it’s PPC campaigns, another day it’s organic ranking through blogging links and then articles. Aargh! How do I keep it all straight?

Today, it can be hard to keep up with the buzz words. Once you’ve optimized your website, you can find out a minute later that Google has changed the rules again. What do you do? If you get too wrapped up in all the rules and jargon of seo marketing, you will actually take your eye too far off the ball and lose business and page rank anyway.

First of all, content always has and always will be king. Writing strictly for SEO is not going to get you very far for very long. Trying too hard to “not” write for seo isn’t going to get you very far either. If you’re worried about overdoing it with your keyword density and don’t use your keywords enough, you can end up with content that doesn’t come across naturally. Good, organic content is going to help you in more ways than one. First, it’s going to help you get real human traffic. Secondly, it’ll get the Google and Yahoo spiders stopping by.

Keeping updated on how things work with the search engine spider bots is going to help you keep your website on either page one or page two. If you can’t manage this on your own, hire a pro, enrol in a course or buy a book. If you are past page two for your target keywords, your target audience probably won’t find you. You also need to focus on the Long Tail and target more than just the top three keywords.

If you get your audience visiting but don’t offer them valuable content, they won’t stay and won’t click on their “checkout” button. You have to please the robots and the humans. If you overdo SEO you won’t please the humans. You could also tick off the robots and get blacklisted. If you try to be an underachiever and ignore SEO, you could miss out and be stuck on page seven.

For those who have done a lot of seo articles, it’s a great idea to stop writing seo articles for a while and focus on something else. Did you know that forum participation and blogging can be really effective at helping you with your PR? Diversify your seo strategy a little! Social book marking and tagging are another area of seo strategy that can truly help you bring up your readership and ranking of your site and increase your sales.

As organizations realize the true value of Search Engine Marketing they struggle with the idea of outsourcing SEM (paid search and organic) or bringing it in-house. The decision is a difficult one since every organization has different online goals. While there are pros and cons to each scenario, before making this vital decision, ask yourself these important questions.

Does your organization have the staff to cover search engine marketing?

Search Engine Marketing consists of many categories including paid search advertising, organic search, and link building. Each of these categories can (and sometimes are) full-time jobs in themselves depending on the size of your website(s) and your online goals. If you will rely on your Marketing and IT departments in fulfilling each SEM role, it is wise to first be sure they can handle the extra responsibilities.

A professional SEM firm has trained staff that is ready to tackle your projects. Also, by taking you on as a client, they are prepared to spend the time necessary on your campaigns.

Is your staff trained in Search Engine Marketing?

Let’s say your organization does have the staff to handle all aspects of SEM. The next step is to determine the depth of knowledge each individual has in SEM. Do you have an in-house marketer whom is versed in AdWords? Are they familiar with Search Engine Optimization and the correct way to optimize a website? Is your staff skilled in keyword research and copywriting? If not, is your company prepared to train these individuals? SEM, unfortunately, is not something you can just sit down and do. The learning curve may be extensive depending on the individual’s current knowledge of the industry.

While you have control over an SEM strategy with an in-house team, a professional agency has well-trained staff and resources at their fingertips. However, you will need to get the agency up to speed in your industry.

How will SEM success be tracked?

A whole other area to a successful search engine marketing campaign is ROI tracking and web analytics. After all, how will you know that your SEM campaigns are successful if you don’t track the results? First question to ask is what analytics package is right for you? Google Analytics is free, but may not be the best package if your company manages 40 websites. Omniture is a great web analytics package for larger websites, but is also costly. Before deciding which package to go with, you must first determine if you have the budget. Once you determine which web analytics package will suite your needs, you must then determine which staff member will take on this responsibility. Web analytics and measuring ROI take a skill set that your current staff may not have. Again, will training be necessary? What costs are involved with training? Are you willing to wait the time necessary to get your staff up to speed?

Conclusion

Take your time to determine whether taking SEM in-house is the right decision for your organization. Consider your in-house resources and online goals and weigh the pros and cons. If you do decide to outsource, be sure the agency (or contractor) you hire understands your company goals.

In this report, we will look at what Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is, and the ways in which it can be used. Through this report, we will provide you with the basics on using Search Engine Optimization in order to improve traffic flow to your site.

Search Engine Optimization is a marketing strategy which can often generate a good return for the site.

But what must be remembered is that search engines are not actually paid for the traffic they send to a site from a natural (organic) search.

Plus, they will regularly change the <u>algorithms</u> that they use for these searches to be carried in an effort to improve the results for people using their search engine. In fact, there is no guarantee that using this system is successful in either the long or short term for any website.

However, even if you do find you have increased traffic to your site because of SEO, if your site is unprepared for this increased traffic, it may in fact be detrimental to your site, as visitors will go away feeling dissatisfied and will not return.

Unfortunately, with <u>SEO</u>, there are no shortcuts, and if you are looking for a way to get quick and easy results, then this isn’t it. But instead, you will need to carry out some hard work, especially in relation to the actual content of your site.

Also, you will need to have plenty of patience, as results <u>do not happen overnight</u>. So if you are looking to improve the search engine position of your site, you should consider this very early on when looking at using SEO.

However, what are important are the following points:-

Good Content:

This is probably the single most important point you should remember when doing SEO, especially if you want your site to be found on the web. Although your site may be technically perfect so that the search engine robots find it, you will find that it will not help if the actual content of your site is not good.

For the content of your site to be good, it should be factually, as well as grammatically correct. But this is not really necessary for every site that is on the web today. However, what is important is that whatever your site is about, the content actually needs to be unique and specific so that it will appeal to people. Moreover, it in fact needs to be particularly appealing to those people looking for information or who want to find your site.

By having good content on your site, visitors will return and eventually these visitors who return are more likely to link to your site. Having lots of inbound links is not only great for your site, but for search engine rankings also. It is even better if those links are from more highly ranked sites than your own.

Also, not only do you need to have good content on your site, you also need to have fresh content also. If you add new content to your site on a regular basis, you are giving your visitors more reasons for returning to it. Because of this, search engine robots will also visit your site more often as soon as they notice that you are updating it regularly. So what this means is that any new content you add, will then be indexed much quicker in the future.

Check your Spellings

If your site is written in English, then you are probably aware of the differences in spelling between American and British English. Where in the UK they will write “colour”, in the USA it is written as “color”, and the same can be said of “optimization” and “optimization”.

So if you can, why not set up your machine so that the spell checker is set up as USA English rather than British English. Unfortunately, there are many words between these two languages that are often misspelled, and in fact, the same can be said for many other languages around the world.

Make sure your Page Titles are Descriptive

If you make your page titles as simple, descriptive and relevant as possible, it will make it easier for the search engines to know what each page of your site is about. This will then allow people to scan through the search results they get, and are able to quickly determine if your document contains what they are actually looking for. Also, it should be remembered that the page title is also what is used in order to link to your site from the results provided by the search engines.

As a result of this, it is important to ensure that the title on the page is one of your most important elements of your site. In fact, some people will argue that this the most important part of any site above all other things.

Use of Real Headings

This is where you need to use h1-h6 (header tags) elements for your headings. By using graphics for your headings you are able to use any typeface you want (but search engines will not pay much attention to this). Even if you do use the alt attribute to specify an alternate text for heading images, this is not anywhere near as important as using real text in a heading element.

But if you are unable to use real text, then look at the various image or flash replacement techniques that are available instead. However, be aware that there may be some risk involved in doing this. As image replacement involves hiding text, it is quite possible that you may be penalized by search engines for doing this. But at present, this kind of risk seems pretty slim.

Ensure that your URL’s are search engine friendly

It is important to use search engine friendly URL’s, as opposed to dynamically generated ones that have a query string (which lets the server know which data to fetch from a database). Unfortunately, there are many search engine robots which have difficulties with this kind of URL and they may well stop at the question mark, and so not actually look at the query string.

By using a search engine friendly URL; you are helping both your ranking and users of your site. Many sites have seen an incredible improvement just because they have changed the URL scheme on it. However, the modification and rewriting of a site’s URL can be a little tricky.

Getting Linked

There is no easy or sustainable way in order to solve this but for one. The really only good way to ensure that your site gets linked is to ensure that it contains good content. For any site on the web, incoming links are very important, especially for Search Engine Optimization. In fact, you may find that this is the hardest part of SEO for you to implement.

But many people have found that incoming links are less important, especially where you have more specific and unique content on your site.

Make it Accessible to All

This is as important as all things previously mentioned. It is important that you make your site accessible to those who are visually impaired, as this will help search engine robots find their way around it also. It is important to remember that Google is blind, so even if you are not bothered whether blind people use your site or not (which we all should be in today’s world); you still need for it to be accessible. What this means is that you should use real headings, paragraphs and lists, and avoid using anything which may interfere with the search engines spiders.

Be Careful when making a Submission

Although this is often overrated, submitting your site to directories and search engines can actually be useful. This is especially important if the site happens to be new and has not as yet been picked up by Google and many of the other search engines that are around.

But if you do want to look at submitting it to some directories, you may want to consider using Yahoo Directory and Open Directory Project and some directories specific to your topic (for example, if you have a blog, try submitting to http://www.blog-search.info). But you will need patience, as it can take several weeks for any submissions to be processed unless you pay for it to be listed.

Do not try to fool the Search Engines

Never use such methods as cloaking, link farms, keyword stuffing, alt text spamming or any other dubious ways. Although they may work for a short time, you not only risk getting your site penalized, but it could actually be banned from search engines altogether.

As search engines like their results to be accurate, they just do not take kindly to people trying to trick them.

Avoid the use of Frames

Although it is possible to provide workarounds that will allow a search engine robot to crawl frame based sites, these will still cause problems for any visitors who find that site through a search engine.

What happens is that when someone follows a link from a search result to a frame based site, they will end up on an orphaned document. This will, in most cases, create confusion for the user, as in many cases, vital parts of the site will be lost, such as navigational links.

Browser Detection - Be Careful

If you have to use some kind of browser detection, then make sure that it does not break when a search engine spider or any other unknown agent comes along. Unfortunately, if the spiders can not get in, then your site will not be found.

Do not waste your time with Meta Tags

You will find that most search engines do not place a great deal of value on the content contained within Meta Tags today. This is because they have been used too much by spammers. So instead, if you need to, use Meta description elements. Although keywords will not hurt, they don’t really help either, so generally it is not worth the effort to use them.

Often there are some search engine sites which will use the content of a Meta description element to describe a site in their search result listings. So whenever possible, make their contents unique and descriptive for every document or page.

As stated at the beginning of this report, we have provided a few basic guidelines in relation to SEO. But there is much more that can be done in order to increase your site’s visibility with search engines.

What is the Basic Link Structure within a Site

This is probably the most obvious, but certainly one of the most overlooked aspects of search engine optimization. This helps to make sure that search engine spiders can actually find (crawl) all of your site’s pages. But if they can not find them, then they won’t get spidered, and this means that they won’t get indexed. In fact, no amount of search engine optimization you try will help.

Below are some points that should be taken note of in respect of link structure for your site.

Spiders can not see links which are accomplished by JavaScript. This is because, as far as search engines will be concerned, they do not exist. So if you want spiders to follow the links on your site, do not use JavaScript. In fact, you will find that Google will not spider any URL if it looks like it has a session ID in it. So any URL’s that have a longish number or odd characters (such as a question mark) in them should be avoided (these are often dynamic URL’s).

It is important that you make sure that all pages link to at least one other page. Pages which do not link out are known as “dangling links”. It is important that you structure the internal links so that targeted search terms are reinforced. So make sure that you organize your links so that your topic’s sub topic pages are linked to it (ensuring that you use the right link text that is specific to the page being linked to) and vice versa. See below for the different types of methods we mean.

Link Text This is one of the 2 most important elements to ensure good rankings for a site. It can either be on pages within the site, or on other sites’ pages. But which ever way you do it, it is important that it is included. It is vital that you include the target page’s main search term in the link text. Also, whenever possible, do not use identical text for every link that links to a page. But if you can include the target page’s main search term in the link text instead.

In fact, links will carry more weight with search engines if the text around them is concerned with the target page’s topic and search term(s).

Keywords Tag It is important to remember that the keywords tag is never actually treated by search engines as keywords. They will be treated as text on a page.

Although this tag is not effective as it used to be, there is no reason to leave it out. Instead, make sure that you put in plenty of relevant keywords and include the search term once at the front of the tag. Also, you do not need to separate keywords or key phrases with commas (as is often done) as search engines ignore these.

H Tag The “n” in this tag represents a number from 1 to 6. The biggest heading is represented by 1. You will find that H tags are given more weight than ordinary text in a page, and so the bigger the H size, the more weight it will have.

So it is important that you include your target search term in the H tags at least once on the page, but if possible two or three times is even better. Also place your first H Tag as near to the top of the site page as possible.

Bold Text: This gives more weight to a page than ordinary text, but not as much as an H Tag does. So where ever possible, enclose the search term in bold tags occasionally where it appears on the page.

So in summary what you need to do is as follows:-

1. Select the main search terms you wish to use. 2. Allocate these search terms to a suitable existing page, and if you need to, split pages. 3. Organize your internal links, and then link text, to suit the target search terms and their pages. 4. If you can, organize those links from other pages to suit the target search terms and their pages also. 5. Now organize all the on page elements in order that they suit each page’s target search term. 6. Finally, now sit back and watch your site’s page rankings begin to improve.

The rest of this report contains the cocktail ingredients of SEO. it will provide you rock solid knowledge base and assist you in understanding what you need to do to achieve your desired SEO results.

What Are Meta Tags?

Meta Tags are a series of sentences created by either you or your web designer in order to let the search engine know what each individual web page in your web site is about. These meta tags are NOT visible to your visitors but are within your code for search engines to read when they visit your site.

Your meta tags will help the search engine determine:

- What your page is about - Whether your meta tags relate to your content within your page - The relevance of your content - Were to rank your site within the search engine.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT META TAGS!

The key to Meta Tags is to let search engines know what the content within your web page is supposed to be about! Creating meta tags that do not relate to your content will give very negative results and may get your web site banned from search engines.

Ex. Your content is about “Creating Meta Tags”.

You’ll want to include within your content specific information about “Creating Meta Tags”. Once your content is complete, select a few “Key Phrases” and include them within your meta tags. Make an attempt to keep each individual web page about 1 specific topic. This will help your page relevance within search engines.

What do Meta Tags look like and how do I view them?

To view meta tags it s actually quite simple if you know what to look for! There are 3 specific things to look for: 1) Title, 2) Description, 3) Keywords.

Here’s what an example of what meta tags look like… Before you say “Huh?”, I’ll explain everything after the given example.

<head>

<title>Web Site Key Word Optimization & Meta Tags</title>

<META name=”description” content=”Search Engine Marketing Tips - Keyword Optimization - Top Rated Search Engines - SEO Search Engine Optimizing Services By Smartads”>

<META name=”keywords” content=”Search Engine Optimization, key words, key word optimization, meta tags, title, description, optimizing meta tags”>

</head>

Ok now… Here’s what you’re looking at…

<title>This is the title you will see at the top of your web browser! The title may be the most important of all 3 meta tags. If you look at the top of your browser, our title meta tag will read “How To Create Meta Tags To Optimize Your Web Site”.</title>

<META name=”description” content=”This is were you can describe what each individual page within your site is about. Not ALL Search Engines look at this meta tag but many still do. Keep your description to about 100-200 words. Try not to copy what your wrote within your title and make your description appealing to read.”>

TIP: You must include the “code” indicated in bold in order for your meta tags to work. So many web sites have meta tags that are never read by search engines because there is a flaw within the meta tags. Don’t forget to include the “closing tags” ( “> ).

<META name=”keywords” content=”The key words meta tag gives the search engine the key words you want your site to be listed in when someone searches those key words. In other words, let’s say you want to have your site listed when someone searches “Marketing”. You would add “Marketing” within your keywords meta tags. Unfortunately due to over spamming by many web sites before you, search engines rarely pay attention to the “key word meta tags” but I feel it won’t hurt to use all the tool available.”>

One of the greatest misconceptions about SEO Elite and other SEO software is that they’re a ‘get-traffic-quick’ source. Whereby, simply inserting your website’s URL and clicking ‘done’ will result in unlimited traffic. Most people that are under this impression are new to the art of Search Engine Optimization. Those that are experienced in the art know that this is impossible. This begs the question; what is the point of SEO Elite?

Well, to answer that we’ll need to look at some of the features that make SEO Elite, well, elite. Also, please note that as I said before; SEO elite is not a magical get-traffic-quick program (unfortunately). SEO Elite is purely to be used as a means for research and advice. Furthermore, anything you do in SEO Elite can be done manually. So, let us take a quick look at the features SEO Elite has to offer.

1. Analyse Backlinks Using a Specific Search Engine

This allows you to quickly see who and how many websites or web blogs are linking to your website. This can even be used to see how many people are backlinking to your competitor’s website. I can’t begin to explain how helpful this can be for you.

2. Get Links to your Website

Project 2 allows you to quickly find and research linking partners for your website. This will allow you to find more linking partners, also this feature comes with its own built in mailing system. Which means, rather than having to contact each webmaster individually, you can send out X amount of requests at once. This is an awesome time saver.

3. Analyse AllinAnchor, AllInTittle or AllInText.

A simple tool that allows you to see what a website is ranked for an AllInAnchor search term.

4. Verify that Linking partners are still linking back

This will allow you to ensure that those you are link exchanging with are linking back. To do this manually will take you a very long time, as I’m sure you understand.

5. Find where a site is ranked for a given keyword

Find out where your site or a competitor’s is ranked for any keyword. Extremely useful if you’re targeting a specific search term or keyword.

6. Find out how many web pages are indexed

Project 6 allows you to find out how many pages are indexed by a search engine. Also, which search engines have indexed which pages.

7. Find Authority websites.

These are the websites that google deems to be an Authority websites, a backlink from them will surely help you achieve a higher rank for a keyword.

So, to summarise; SEO Elite is not a get-traffic-quick program, it is purely a research tool. SEO Elite allows to effortlessly do what would take you weeks even months, in a matter of moments. If you’re serious about Search Engine Optimization, that I urge you to purchase SEO Elite, it’s like cheating to beat your competition. Also, SEO Elite may look like a complicated program, but when you purchase you’ll be given a series of instructional videos, so even a child could use SEO Elite. So what are you waiting for?

In case you haven’t heard (and even some web professionals haven’t), search engine optimization copywriting - “SEO copywriting” for short - is about taking a page on a website and judiciously sprinkling one or maybe two keyword phrases throughout the copy. You then repeat the process for other pages on the site, using different keywords.

There’s a bit more to it than that, but this isn’t the place to go into the mechanics. The essential art comes in picking the right keywords and putting them in the right places, while still making the copy read well to prospective customers.

It’s been part of what I do as a freelance copywriter for a long time now. And it amazes me how much ignorance there still is about how effective it can be at getting a website to the top end of the search engine rankings. Especially when it costs relatively little when compared with other search engine optimization methods.

Yet so many web design companies still, essentially, ignore it. So many small or medium sized businesses haven’t even heard of it when they’re commissioning a new website. Under-used, under-funded, under-appreciated, it’s the “Cinderella service” of search engine optimization.

What can SEO copywriting achieve?

Correctly done, it will provide an enormous boost to your search engine rankings. It’s often possible to get a site on the first page of the major search engines for a variety of keyword searches.

In fact I’ve written optimized copy for sites that two years later are still on the first page of Google for popular keywords - and without the need for expensive link building or marketing campaigns.

(That said, beware anyone who actually guarantees you a top ranking - or who only succeeds in getting a high ranking by optimizing a phrase that virtually no-one would put in a search box.)

What does SEO copywriting cost?

If you know what keywords you want to use and the copywriter is writing the site from scratch, there’s no reason why SEO copywriting should cost any more than regular copywriting. However, half the skill is in choosing the best keywords. You must be sure that you’re using keywords that people search with, but which aren’t being optimized by too many of your competitors. Researching the keywords does take a certain amount of expertise - and time.

Get it right, and the benefits are incredible. You can not only compete with companies much bigger than yours, you can get higher rankings than them.

Some companies pay thousands and thousands to optimization companies to generate link building campaigns. Others shell out small fortunes to Google AdWords or MSN adCenter, paying for sponsored links. With SEO copywriting, you simply make a one-off payment for a couple of days or so of the copywriter’s time.

Then why is SEO copywriting so underrated?

There’s a variety of reasons why SEO copywriting isn’t more widely used. One is that web design companies tend to focus on the look of a website. Their creative people are designers and they rely on clients to supply copy - ‘the ‘grey bits’ that fit in between their expensive images and beautiful designs. The effectiveness of a website tends to be of very much secondary importance to them. Even now it’s generally only the bigger, more progressive design agencies that actually employ copywriters.

Another factor is that for a long time, good copywriting wasn’t really necessary as far as the search engines were concerned. You could get away with spamming them - for instance by simply repeating keywords over and over again in tiny or nearly invisible text. Not any more. Today, proper, well-written content truly is king for the search engines.

A further reason is that there are a lot of web marketing companies out there which depend on making regular money from optimizing in other ways. From their point of view, expensive and ongoing link building and search marketing campaigns make a lot more sense than a comparatively small one-off copywriting fee.

So is SEO copywriting the be all and end all?

To be fair, there are times where SEO copywriting alone isn’t enough. If you’re in a highly competitive business like travel or insurance, you have to fight tooth and nail to scale the rankings. With instances like these, search marketing and link building campaigns can make sense, although they’re usually costly.

Whatever your business, it also helps regularly to update and add content to your site, even if that copy isn’t optimized. Search engines like websites which are frequently updated.

It’s also still important to design and code your site in a search-engine friendly way, though much less so than it used to be. The site design won’t have much of a positive effect in itself, but it could have a negative one if you’re not careful - certain types of software or page designs make it hard for the search engine spiders to read the page. So you need web designers who know what they’re doing.

Of course, if you’re not interested in getting a large number of visitors to your website, you could just decide not to bother with any kind of optimization. For instance, if you’re a big multinational, people will generally come to you.

But if you’re a small or medium sized business, you cannot afford to ignore the power of SEO copywriting. Without it, your site will likely be seen by few people. Whereas for a comparatively small sum, you can compete long-term with anyone, gain higher rankings - and pick up many new customers. SEO copywriting may be a Cinderella service, but it offers a fairytale ending.

In case you are new to the web and is just about to build your first website, my guess is that you feel the chill when you hear the term search engine optimization. This really sounds hard, doesn’t it?

Optimizing your site for the search engines really isn’t that hard thought, because basically it’s just about building a content rich site that is useful to your visitors. And these days when more and more search engines apply LSI, writing content has become easier than ever.

A few years ago when focus was more on including your keyword phrase or phrases a certain number of times on the page, it was harder to write content that was easy to read for a human being. And many webmaster misused this and created loads of pages filled with crappy content that was barely readable.

Today when you can focus more on getting the theme right on the page, writing has become so much more easy and fun. When writing a page now, basically you can take your main keyword phrase and a few related words and put them into your page’s meta tag. Then you can write naturally without having to insert the exact keyword phrase into the sentences.

When writing this way, you will experience that writing becomes something that you want to do almost everyday. You will feel that you have so much in you that you just need put down into an article. Today you can rearrange words when you are writing, as long as you make sure that you blend in some related ones.

You probably know that there are many other aspects of search engine optimization as well, such as link building etc. But bottom line is that you site needs good content that your visitors will be interested in. Then will other sites link naturally to yours because of you good content.

I know that some people think that writing articles is hard and maybe that is true in the beginning. But today there are many good courses available on how to write for the web both free ones and some that you have to pay a few dollars for. And even if you decide to invest a buck or two in a writing course, you will end up seeing that it was a good investment.
